I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the opportunity to chat with some great people here. I am sorry to see the season end. The countdown begins to next season! I am planning on being back here in August/September as the Roosters certainly have a special place in my heart now. Hope everyone enjoys their summer !

hmmmmm ... to be fair, please let me tell you first that there is no confirmation yet that Brendan Buckley has already signed a new contract for the next season. All there is are rumours that he will do this week. So keep your eyes open and have a look at this forum.

Last Friday evening, we had a great good-bye-party with the team, but still we're not sure about the future of some players and coaches, too (although they surely had enough beer there , they didn't tell too much).

Apart from that, we usually don't fall into a long sleep during summer - this is another reason to keep focussed on the forum. A highlight will be that some of our players seem to be a part of the German team in Halifax, Canada (see http://www.iihf.com), such as Wolf, Hock, Schmidt . Maybe Buckley in Team USA ? Finland and Slovakia, beware !!!!

Next, I'll jump to http://www.monarchshockey.com/ and see what's new in there .

Further I have a question: What´s your realtionship to the Iserlohn Roosters? Have you ever seen a Hockey-game?

Back here in the States I am a HUGE Manchester Monarchs fan. They are an AHL team relating to the Los Angeles Kings. Brendan Buckley was Captain for the team 2006-2007. He was my favorite player and when he signed to play in Germany I joined this forum to see how things progressed for him. I have met some great people and now have a very close friend over there.. We exchange more than Hockey news now.

And by the way my "German" is completely zero! I have to use a translator that I downloaded onto my computer just for this purpose My watching of the Roosters game are down on the computer and the DVD's from my friend.
